A cube. The simplest possible container.

The performance is what happens when you apply continuous pressure to a known shape and refuse to stop. The edges bow, the faces become membranes, the right angles surrender one by one. Color arrives that has nothing to do with light. By the end the surfaces are marbled, fractured, architectural debris but the corners are still faintly there.

The cube never fully disappears. It just becomes unlivable. The cello with FX is the sound of this performance: a resonant body stretched past its own identity, warm and violent in the same breath, until the instrument and what's being done to it can no longer be told apart.
